Hat Care

Here are some tips on how to care for your hat:

Processing:

Always handle your hat with clean, dry hands to prevent dirt, oils and moisture from transferring to the hat's surface. Avoid touching the rim or crown excessively, as this can cause warping or discoloration over time.

Storage: Store your hat in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight or heat sources. Use a hat hanger or hat box to protect the shape of the hat and prevent it from being crushed or deformed.

Cleaning:

Clean your hat regularly to remove dirt, dust and sweat that can build up on the hat's surface. Use a soft-bristled brush or lint roller to gently remove the residue. If your hat is made of wool or felt, use a damp cloth to spot clean the affected area and allow it to dry naturally. Avoid using water on leather hats and always follow the manufacturer's instructions for cleaning and care.

Weather resistance:

Protect your hat from rain, snow and other elements by using a waterproofing spray designed specifically for hats. This will help prevent water damage and keep your hat looking its best.

Summer care:

For straw hats, we advise using a spray bottle of water and squeezed oranges to spray the hats every two months for extra longevity.

How to take my measurements??

The attached photo clearly shows taking a measurement with a tailor's tape measure:

Here's exactly how to determine your size:

1. Take a tailor's tape measure (you can also use a string here, which you then measure with a tape measure).
2. Place the tape measure approximately 2-3 cm above the eyebrows.
3. Circle the tape measure around your head, precisely reaching the most prominent part of the head.
4. IMPORTANT! This is a measurement for standard hat wearing!
